When we are closed – out of hours support

When our practice is closed you can still get support. You can get expert medical advice and useful information by calling NHS 111 or through 111 online.

The NHS 111 service is available 24 hours a day and can provide patient information, issue prescriptions to a pharmacy of your choice, book a GP appointment, and, if necessary, refer people to emergency services.

In An Emergency

Ring the surgery on 020 8850 2458 or 020 8859 5881. During the hours that the surgery is open you will be answered by the receptionist. Make it clear that your case is urgent and she will make an appointment for you at short notice.

Calls outside these hours, which should be for emergencies only, will be interrupted by a taped message which will give clear instructions about how to contact the doctor on duty. If it is a serious problem, please do not hesitate to call 999 for an ambulance. Advice may be sought from NHS 111, which is a new national telephone service being introduced to make it easier for people to access local health services when  they have an urgent need. It replaces NHS Direct and provides a general number for people to call when they have an urgent need, but not a life threatening 999 emergency.
